Information We Collect

  1. Patient App

We may collect the following information:

Account Information:

  • Google Sign-In data (name, email, profile picture, unique ID)
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token
  • Last login timestamp

Patient Information:

  • Patient status (whether you are a patient of Clovis Pediatric Group)
  • Patient name
  • Patient date of birth
  • Patient contact number
  • Appointment date
  • Appointment reason (provided by patient while booking an appointment)

Appointments & Communication:

  • Patients can book appointments with doctors through the App.
  • Patients can chat with their assigned doctor via text, images, audio, or video.
  • Patients cannot initiate audio or video calls; only doctors can start audio/video calls for consultations.

App Usage Data:

  • Notifications (non-sensitive content only)

Patient Consent:

  • Patients must consent to camera and microphone access for audio/video calls before the first consultation.
  • Patients acknowledge that all audio/video calls are initiated by the doctor.
  1. Doctor App

We may collect the following information:

Professional Data:

  • Doctor can access and check their upcoming appointments to see schedule and patient details.
  • Doctor can chat with patients via text, images, audio, or video.
  • Doctor can initiate audio and video calls with patients.
  • Patients cannot call doctors; all audio/video communication is initiated by the doctor.
  • Doctor can share a patient’s appointment with another authorized healthcare provider, who can then message the patient or initiate audio/video calls.
  • Doctor can complete a patient appointment once audio/video consultation is successfully done, updating the appointment status to “completed”.

Technical Data:

  • Device type
  • IP address
  • App usage data

Call Communication Data:

  • Audio and video call session information including duration, timestamps, call status, and participant IDs
  • Call metadata for system monitoring and service improvement

Note: The App interface does not display the third-party service used for calls. Calls are managed via a secure third-party service (Agora SDK) for privacy and compliance purposes only.

Audio & Video Call Privacy Policy

The CPG Tele Health App provides audio and video calling features for communication between patients and authorized healthcare providers using a secure third-party service (Agora SDK).

Data Collected During Calls via Agora SDK:

  • Call start and end timestamps
  • Call duration
  • Call status (missed, declined, completed)
  • Call participants (doctor and patient IDs)
  • Technical diagnostics (connection quality, errors, device performance)

What We Do NOT Collect:

  • Audio or video content of calls is not recorded by default.
  • Live call audio/video content is not stored unless explicitly required for medical, legal, or operational purposes and permitted by law.

Permissions:

  • Camera access (for video calls)
  • Microphone access (for audio/video calls)
  • Permissions are used only during calls and not for background recording.

Third-Party Service:

  • Audio and video calls are handled by Agora SDK in the backend.
  • Metadata such as call duration, timestamps, and connection quality may be logged for technical support and app functionality.
  • Doctor interface does not display the use of Agora SDK.

Health Data / Compliance

  • The App handles protected health information (PHI) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Users acknowledge that their data is collected and used to provide telehealth services and improve App functionality.
  • In the event of a data breach, affected users will be notified in accordance with applicable laws.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Enable secure communication between patients and doctors
  • Provide audio and video consultation features
  • Allow patients to book appointments and submit appointment reasons
  • Notify users about updates and responses
  • Maintain communication history
  • Allow doctors to share appointments with other providers
  • Monitor call quality and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Track and update appointment completion status
  • Improve app functionality and performance
